All BCLS patrons have a new default password to their account. To access the online catalog, log in and enter your library card number and the new password (Bcls123). For account security, patrons will immediately be prompted to create their own password for their account.
To use apps like Kanopy, Hoopla, ComicsPlus, Mango and Cloudlibrary, old passwords can continue to be used until further notice.
Yes, patrons can now start placing holds.
Email notifications will be going out to patrons soon. Text notifications are temporarily unavailable. Please be aware branches will be calling patrons who do not have an email on file.
Yes, patrons will be able to pay fees for lost or damaged materials at any library branch now that the new system is in place.
Reading histories have been migrated. They may or may not be complete depending on how well the information transferred from one system to another.
To check your history, log into your library account and look for a link labeled History on the lefthand side. From there you can view your Account History.
At this time, self checkout machines are unavailable.
Curbside service has resumed normal operating hours at all 12 branches.
Makerspaces have resumed normal operating procedures.
It is recommended to delete the MyLibrary! app. The app is no longer being updated.
